Continuing from OT I, this course focuses on speaking skills for formal occasions (such as polite expressions and enquiries, ‘small talks’ in social activities, and job interviews), academic purposes (presentation and seminar skills), and language tests (mainly GEPT). Most activities are task- and context-based, designed for both individuals and groups. Materials are selected from an extensive array of subjects in order to help students immerse themselves in a wider range of contexts. The atmosphere in the classroom is expected to be relaxing yet intellectually stimulating, which allows students to develop communicative skills with less stress and more pleasure in the learning process.
